Geodynamics and Stress State of the Earth’s Interior
Conference devoted to the 75th Anniversary of the Chinakal Institute of Mining, SB RAS
30 September – 4 October 2019
The Conference on Geodynamics and Stress State of the Earth’s Interior will be held in Novosibirsk on 30 September – 4 October 2020. The Conference will be hosted by the Chinakal Institute of Mining, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences jointly with the Scientific Council on Problems in Mining Science, Russian Academy of Sciences, with the participation of foreign researchers and practitioners from Russia’s top mining companies (Norilsk Nickel, ALROSA, EVRAZ and SUEK-Kuzbass).
Official Conference languages: Russian and English
The Conference will provide ground for the discussion of basic and applied research findings on the stress–strain behavior of rock mass under natural effects and anthropogenic impact with a view to using the new knowledge towards higher safety and efficiency of mineral mining.
- Experimental methods and facilities, monitoring systems and technologies for the stress–strain analysis and studies into gas-dynamics, physical and mechanical properties and fracture of rocks.
- Mathematical modeling of rock mass and induced processes at underground excavations. Digital geomechanics.
- Theory and practice of control of the physical condition of rock mass: effects, prevention of rock bursts, coal and gas outbursts and manmade disasters. Environmental and industrial safety.
